The Job Opportunity

The Soft Services Manager will manage the delivery of the Soft Services Operations (24/7), which include but are not limited to Cleaning, Window Cleaning, Waste Management, Pest Control, Timetabling, Service Desk, CSR and Communication, Information Technology, including organic growth and additional variation works received. The position is a high-profile and key operational role in delivering Facility Management services for Khadamat Facilities Management LLC at the UAEU New Campus Al Ain.

Key accountabilities

  • Manage the strategic service delivery and performance of the department and Soft Services-related services variations/organic growth/new contracts.
  • Manage the performance of the Soft Services Department, including, Cleaning & Window Cleaning, Pest Control, Waste Management, Timetabling, Service Desk, and Information Technology Departments.
  • Enhance customer experience via evaluating prospects for additional scope of work and opportunities for other services resulting in new business opportunities, organic growth or contracts.
  • Maintain documentation and records associated with service performance following relevant Company Procedures in support of the ISO 9001 accreditation.

What we are looking for in our candidates:

  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate a multi-national workforce.
  • Experience in interacting with the client organisation at the highest level.
  • Good knowledge of appropriate International best practice standards relating to the service outputs of the Soft Services Department.

Specific requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of management experience in Soft Services as department head.
  • Experience and working knowledge of a large Facilities Management Department.
  • Holder of a degree in a relevant discipline.
  • General appreciation of Soft Services and Support Services Facilities Management and ideally a member of BIFM or similar.
