About the Role:
The Region Procurement Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end Regional Procurement Activities for Indirect Materials and Services (General and Supply Chain). The Region Procurement Manager is part of the regional management team at Ferrero Gulf & Arab Countries.
The main responsibilities include strategic sourcing, budget and contract management, negotiations, purchasing and supplier management, project development and managing process governance and performance.
The Regional Procurement Manager contributes to defining purchasing strategy for non-globally sourced goods & services Categories, based on global procurement guidelines and Region needs.
On the people side, the Regional Procurement Manager is expected to manage a small team locally and grow their competencies through coaching and developing their skills and experiences.
In addition, the role entails stakeholder management through alignment of the Region Manager about procurement activities in the Region and updating about the procurement performance, project status update, procurement topics, market trends, forecasted impacts on Area P&L in alignment with Finance.
The Regional Procurement Manager interacts with different Procurement Functions and other Procurement Business Partner.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced procurement manager with 10 to 15 years of relevant experience. Technical or economical education background is preferred.
The experience in the consumer goods industry is required.
The incumbent must possess strong leadership and people management skils.
The role requires strong analytical skills. Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
We expect the incumbent to have relevant Knowledge of the local and global supplier market, price agreements and related procedures.
Knowledge of procurement process and contractual agreements.
Knowledge of suppliers manufacturing processes as a plus.
Languages: English, Arabic is a plus
