Today, we deliver hundreds of millions of food orders, grocery items and other products per year, to our customers in nine countries throughout the region with more than 3,000+ employees! Role SummaryThe role is responsible to manage our online payment acceptance from all aspects, actingas the business owner of this stream while working with internal stakeholders and externalpartners across the region. The role will focus on optimizing payment costs, improvingpayment success rates, introducing new payment methods, improving experience andincreasing online payments share.What’s On Your Plate?●Be responsible for processing transactions amounting to billions of euros across allmarkets for Talabat●Drive regional initiatives related to the optimization of the pricing and commercialagreements with partners related to online payments●Set and execute, short and mid-term strategy of the pricing optimization of onlinepayments●Share regular updates on the performance metrics and initiatives with global,regional, and local stakeholders●Streamline the communication amongst internal stakeholders (local, regional, global)from various departments (finance, controlling, product, engineering, etc) andexternal stakeholders (PSPs, APMs, acquirers, card schemes, etc)●Follow closely the market trends to benchmark the performance and the setup withthe market level, to capture relevant opportunities, and to drive innovation●Own and optimize the payment performance related KPIs●Work closely with the product and engineering teams to improve the checkoutexperience and measure the impact on the performance and customer satisfaction●Achieve targets for payment success rates and costWhat Did We Order?Solution-oriented and with a high sense of ownership5+ years of payments experience with at least 2+ years within the acceptance domain inMENASelf-driven with a high sense of ownership and require minimal supervisionFocused knowledge of card payments, PSPs, acquirers, APMs, and new paymenttechnologiesData savvy: Comfortable with analytical tools and collaborating with data teams to makedata-driven decisionsAdvanced Excel knowledge and excellent presentation skillsComfortable driving multiple initiatives
