There is an exciting opportunity for a project management professional to join a growing Infrastructure team, who provide fit for purpose building and infrastructure solutions to the Rolls-Royce Submarines business. It is a once in a generation time, where the Submarines estate is undergoing a significant regeneration programme, whilst moving into a new contracting period

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll be responsible for the delivery of capital and revenue infrastructure investments, including define and phase programme tranches (projects and other related work), and lead the integration across projects and organisational boundaries to deliver outcomes and benefits.

  • Responsible for controlling, managing & monitoring the projects performance and delivery against objectives, – SQCDP, etc. This includes oversight of the supply chain being managed by Group Property and Procurement
  • Establishing of project governance, specifically but not limited to the creation of project management plans, including scheduling, cost management, risk management, change control, stakeholder management, procurement and contracting strategies.
  • Team leadership responsibilities, including the planning and prioritisation of work.  Lead, coach and motivate the project team, including setting up, developing, and evaluating team performance where appropriate, and influence, manage and communicate with key stakeholders
  • Promotion of the general culture and professionalism of project management throughout the Business. Identification, development, and implementation of entirely new processes/tools where appropriate.

  • Experience in problem Solving / Managing Conflict / Resolution .
  • APMP Qualified or equivalent.
  • Construction or Building Consultancy Background.

To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines Business an individual has to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if the individual does not currently already have this in place.
