Job Purpose and Impact

The HR Operations Market Lead will lead core operational human resources services for a workforce of c1700 in the UK and Ireland. In this role, you will oversee the execution of activities, including benefits, payroll, human resources compliances, data analysis, time and attendance, leave management, audits and employees compensation.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage end-to-end activities within the ‘core HR’ domain: payroll, workforce time management and employee data management and ensure compliance to local legislation and company policies.
  • Supervise the UK/I employee Benefits team.
  • Lead and participate in core HR operations projects including a UK payroll stabilisation project, integration of a newly acquired business and the implementation of new company policies and benefits programs.
  • Effectively partner with different stakeholders in the HR operating model (e.g. Shared Service partners, IT, regional Core HR team).
  • Design and deliver training and education sessions for employees, human resources professionals, supervisors and managers on policies, processes and procedures.
  • Champion a strong continuous improvement culture to ensure deployment of scalable, simplified and standardized processes.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiencies for increased productivity to elevate client service.
  • Align service delivery with laws, regulations and corporate policies.
  • Ensure accurate use of vendor management of human resource services providers within country.
  • Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated related work experience
  • Demonstrable experience positively influencing and collaborating with business and human resource leaders
  • Confirmed understanding of evolving human resource service and demonstrated capability of leading organizational change efforts
  • Previous experience in service areas such as benefits, payroll, time and attendance, leave management and employee’s compensation
  • Experience in human resource compliances

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or other post-secondary degree
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and implement human resources processes and client focused solutions
  • Consultative skills
  • Proven record of implementation and optimization of processes and metrics
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience
  • Experience in a shared services organization or working in multi-diverse environment
  • Project management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in operations or any core human resources
  • Demonstrated experience with HRIS software (SAP SuccessFactors) and ADP Global View (or equivalent).
